More than a tattoo studio

Illusion Ink started as a one-artist studio in Wilnis. After gaining three years of experience in another studio, the dream of opening a personal tattoo shop could no longer be postponed. Iris took the leap and started her own studio, small, personal, and built around a strong focus on quality and craftsmanship.

As demand quickly grew, the team expanded with Roxanne, our second realism specialist. As the waiting list continued to grow, the search began for the right additions to the team. In early 2025, Febe joined as an apprentice, followed by Ian at the end of 2025.

Today, Illusion Ink continues to grow as a studio where artists develop their own style while working together to create high-quality, custom tattoos.

Besides tattooing, I’ve always had a passion for quirky objects and interior design. Opening a tattoo shop was therefore mostly a great excuse to go thrift shopping! Almost all of the décor in the shop is second-hand, gifted, or handmade. That way, you end up collecting all sorts of unique items with character and soul.

I love creating unusual combinations, mixing colors, and making a space truly feel like its own. That’s why the shop is never really finished, I can always find a good excuse to take another trip to the thrift store and see what treasures I might find!
