1. Who we are

2. What data we process

Data you provide: name, contact details, health information relevant to getting a tattoo (allergies, skin conditions, medication, pregnancy), and data from our booking and contact forms. We also collect anonymous statistics about your visit to our website.

3. Two-tier analytics

Pre-consent: we collect pageviews without cookies, without your IP address, without a profile, and without any identifier. This data is fully anonymous and processed under our legitimate interest in improving the site.

With your consent: we enable detailed analytics via PostHog (EU-hosted). This includes cookies, session information, and behavioural data to help improve the booking flow. You can withdraw consent at any time via "Cookie settings" in the footer.

4. Cookies

No cookies are set pre-consent. After consent, PostHog sets functional cookies (distinct_id, session tracking) with a maximum lifetime of 12 months.

5. Purposes

Booking handling, contact follow-up, pre-tattoo health assessment, and site improvement.

6. Legal basis

Bookings and contact handling: contract performance (GDPR art. 6(1)(b)). Health data: explicit consent (GDPR art. 9(2)(a)). Detailed analytics: consent (GDPR art. 6(1)(a)).

7. Retention

Booking and contact data: 7 years (Dutch fiscal retention). Intake health data: 5 years from last appointment. Anonymous analytics: unlimited (no identifiable data).

8. Third parties

PostHog Inc. (EU-hosted in Frankfurt) for analytics. Cloudflare Pages for hosting. Email provider for contact handling. We do not sell data.

9. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection. Withdraw analytics consent via "Cookie settings" in the footer. For other requests: REVIEW: email@illusionink.nl.

10. Complaints

You can lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).
